Rated 3 out of 5 by from Inconsistent creamy and smoothness of product I like the products I bought but one of the jars wasn't smooth and creamy lIkea the other. It looked like nothing but small little beads. A friend of mine told me she had one like that and recommend that I empty it out and place in a big bowl and blend it with my mixer and use only one beater. I did that which made it better but still have beads and not as smooth and creamy like my other jar. I feel after spending $14 on a product I shouldn't have to go to such lengths to still have an average product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing Smell! This butter smells amazing! It takes some time to spread on the skin but once it does it moisturizes throughout the day even in the winter season.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Memorable Awful Smell Purchased the Nubian Heritage Shea Butter (infused with Honey & Black Seed Oil) at a Sprouts Farmers Market Store. The product contains excessive parfum (or Essential Oil Blend). I could not remove the (awful) smell from my hands. I tried soap, lotion and dish washing liquid. Finally, I used isopropyl alcohol. Then, I rewashed (with soap) my hands. I am totally disappointed with this product. Of course, I will never purchase it again. Many consumers ( like me) would prefer the option of a “no fragrance” product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shea Butter Review Texture of shea butter was beaded and gritty, instead of smooth and consistent. Takes extra time to rub into skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I love the scent but... My butter arrived and separated into little pellets. When I scoops them out rub my hands together vigorously I am able to melt most of them back into uniformity and then spread it on my skin, and my skin DOES love it but some of the little shea butter pellets remain and it makes the product aa little frustrating to use. I understand because this is an all antural product these things happen but it is still disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product! I really like the scent of this Shea Butter but the texture and consistency is different from others I've used. It seems as though it may be cooked longer - I'm not sure. This is a minor detail as the product is great for my carbon based skin. Thanks...

Hi can you please confirm of this for the body or face? I am looking for a body lotion or butter of black seed oil and honey.

Asked by: Sofia
Hi Sofia, Thank you for your question. Yes, you may use the Infused Shea Butter on your face and body. But, if you are looking for a lotion I would recommend the Honey & Black Seed Body Lotion.

Is this solid at room temperature (at least solid enough to bring in carry-on luggage without being considered a liquid)?

Asked by: Lizi
Hi Lizi, Thank you for reaching out to us. We do consider the Raw Shea Butter a solid product, but this question would be up the the TSA's discretion. Sincerely, Taylor

I used this for the first time tonight and it was grainy, more like a scrub than a cream. It wouldn't rub in completely and left tiny chunks on my hands. What would cause this?

Asked by: Karen
Hello Karen, Thank you for connecting with us. Because of the natural ingredients, the lack of artificial preservatives and the settling in the production process and the settling of the Shea Butter, sometimes little "crystals" can form. Basically, Shea Butter is composed of varying degrees of fat content. The Shea Butter needs to be warmed to be poured into the containers and while it cools and hardens, depending on the temperature of the mixture and the temperature of the various fat contents, sometimes the mixture can cool unevenly and when some particles cool faster than others, little Crystals of Shea Butter form. This is very common in natural products especially unrefined natural products. One possible solution would be to very tightly close your Infused Butter, Submerge it in near boiling water for 5 minutes then immediately put it into the refrigerator until it solidifies. Please be advised however that there is absolutely nothing wrong with your infused butter. This is very common with Cocoa, Shea and other natural butters. Sincerely, Taylor

Hello. What are the EXACT ingredients in this salve & specific essential oils used? Very important info and on Amazon the product is just described as having a 'blend' of essential oils. Also no mention of apricot oil, which I see here as an ingredient.
